The "Color Response Detector RD-80SA" is capable of detecting crosstalk, which is a key factor in improving the high image quality of sequential 3D displays, as well as measuring brightness and color. Active shutter 3D televisions separate the images for the left and right eyes and alternately switch between them for display. However, each image can instantaneously leave a residual image in the opposite eye, resulting in a phenomenon known as crosstalk, where the image appears blurred or double.
